Sandra Stibbards, a respected investigative and intelligence expert in diverse subjects such as financial fraud, competitive intelligence, counterintelligence, business espionage, intellectual property, online vulnerabilities and other areas, has been named to the Advisory Board of the Association for Data and Cyber Governance.

Stibbards, a 28-year professional, specializes in fraud investigations, competitive intelligence, counterintelligence, business and corporate espionage, online vulnerability assessments, brand protection and IP investigations, internet investigations and other areas.
She opened her firm, Camelot Investigations, in California in 1996 where she is a licensed private investigator. Ms. Stibbards has conducted investigations in five continents, including client-driven matters for financial institutions, brokerage firms, security companies, and various industries including aviation, international retail, pharmaceutical, software, healthcare, accounting and law firms, and government agencies. Her clients have included several Fortune 500 companies.
Ms. Stibbards has conducted training seminars worldwide on Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) since 2010. She created the course originally for the United States government. Building on that foundation, she tailors her seminars to the needs of companies and government agencies. The attendees and participating businesses have included financial institutions, intelligence agents, investigators, law enforcement agents, security companies, software firms, computer forensics firms, aerospace companies, and accounting and law firms. Her presentations aim to prepare participants to protect and expand their businesses and information, and to adapt to changes.
Ms. Stibbards is also a member of the Council of International Investigators, International Intelligence Network (Intellenet), American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS), Infragard, ACFE, WAD and others.
She is proficient at utilizing Open Source Intelligence to enhance and strengthen investigations. The methods and processes used in private investigations amplified and buttressed utilization of OSINT, a powerful tool in a wide range of investigations. She developed and refined social engineering and elicitation as specialized skills and includes Internet profiling and online investigations in her work.
Ms. Stibbards has been a speaker at international conferences and private events including the 2019 ACAMS Financial Crimes & AML Conference; Caribbean Regional Compliance Association 2018; ASIS International Annual Conference in Dallas, TX; Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, Heartland Annual Conference; Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS) Toronto Conference; Annual Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP) Conference, and Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) Training Sessions throughout North America.
