This privacy policy covers the use of the web site located at http://www.adcg.org and the services provided by Arts Development Council of Georgia, Inc. (ADCG, INC.), including how ADCG, INC. treats personal information that ADCG, INC. collects and receives.  Pursuant to ADCG, INC.'s Terms of Use, you must be 18 years and older to use this site or have permission from a legal guardian.  Therefore, this policy makes no provision for individuals less than 18 years of age.  This policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that ADCG, INC. does not own or control, or individuals that ADCG, INC. does not employ or manage.

Information Collection and How it is Used

General Information:

• ADCG, INC. will not sell or disclose your name or email address to third parties without your explicit consent, except as specified in this privacy policy.
• ADCG, INC. collects personal information when you purchase products through the ADCG.org web site.
• If you are a Member, Sponsor or Patron of ADCG, INC., ADCG, INC. will ask for your business name, address and phone number; business contact name, address, phone number and email address; and information about the types of art you create and general methods used to classify your products.
• If you purchase a membership on the ADCG.org website, ADCG, INC. will ask for your name, address, phone number, email address, and credit card information.
• ADCG, INC. automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, cookies, and the pages you request.  This data is only used in the aggregate.
• ADCG, INC. uses information for the following general purposes: products and services provisioning, billing, identification and authentication, services improvement, contact, research, and anonymous reporting.  IP addresses are automatically reported by your browser each time you view a web page.  IP addresses may be used for various research purposes.

Service-related Announcements

As a member, sponsor or patron, ADCG, INC. will send you an order confirmation email when you sign up for membership through the ADCG.org website.

As a member, sponsor or patron of ADCG, INC., you and images of your work may be listed on the ADCG.org website.  ADCG, INC. will send you email to coordinate the management of directory, advertising and similar listings.

You may not opt-out of service-related communications, which are not promotional in nature.

ADCG, INC. will not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes without your explicit consent.  Your information may be combined with information ADCG, INC. collects from other members, sponsors, patrons and website visitors and used to improve and personalize services, content and advertising.

Newsletter Emails

ADCG, INC. may offer subscriptions to various newsletters, and other communications to ADCG.org website members, sponsors, patrons and website visitors.  To opt-in, ADCG, INC. will ask for your email address and the newsletter(s) you wish to receive.  You may change your subscription or unsubscribe at any time by following the instructions contained in the email.

ADCG, INC. employs other companies and people to perform tasks on our behalf and needs to share your information with them to provide products and services to you.  Examples include but are not limited to fulfilling membership requests, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance and providing customer service.

ADCG, INC. will not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with nonaffiliated parties except as specified in this Privacy Policy to provide products or services you have requested or when ADCG, INC. has your permission.  It may be necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of ADCG, INC.'s Terms of Use, as specified in this Privacy Policy or as otherwise required by law.

As part of your ADCG, INC. membership, sponsorship or patronage, you may have access to an email address, shipping address, and/or other information from or about a other members, sponsors or patrons.  Pursuant to ADCG, INC.'s Terms of Use, you have a limited license to use this information.  This information should only be used for ADCG.org website related communications or for ADCG.org website facilitated transactions.  ADCG, INC. has not granted you a license to use the information for unsolicited commercial messages.  Without limiting the foregoing, without express consent from the user, you are not licensed to add any Producer or customer email address to your email or physical mail list.

Without limiting the above, ADCG, INC. will not otherwise disclose your personal information to law enforcement, other government officials, or other third parties without a subpoena, court order, legal process, or substantially similar legal procedure, except with ADCG, INC. believes in good faith that the disclosure of information is necessary to protect ADCG, INC.'s rights, prevent imminent physical harm or financial loss, or to report suspected illegal activity.

Except as otherwise expressly included in this Privacy Policy, this document addresses only the use and disclosure of information ADCG, INC. collects from you.  If you disclose your information to others, whether members, sponsors, patrons or general website visitors on the ADCG.org website or throughout the internet, different rules may apply to their use or disclosure of the information you disclose to them.  ADCG, INC. does not control the privacy policies of members, sponsors, patrons or other third parties, and you are subject to the privacy policies of those third parties where applicable.  ADCG, INC. is not responsible for the privacy or security practices of other websites on the internet, even those linked to or from the ADCG.org site.  ADCG, INC. encourages you to ask questions before you disclose your personal information to others.

Security
